Your Crossroads Prayer Goals for the Week! Thank You for Your Powerful Prayers! They Are Changing Lives Forever!
Thank you for praying for our precious inner city students! God is transforming hearts!
The Atlanta club had close to 70 students show up last week! A Crossroads staff member really challenged the leadership team to be Christ-like role models for their peers (guarding their minds, staying in God's Word, sacrificial love, sexual purity etc.). The club can't go forward if the students don’t have examples of consecrated Christians to follow. They really listened to and received what was said. One young man confessed specific sins he has been struggling with to the staff member (1 John 1:9). This was powerful!
He also recently shared that the club has really helped him in his walk with Christ. We believe he has a calling to be a preacher. He wants to start a Christian group and take the Gospel around the world! He also stated that he was meditating on God before he went to bed one night recently and woke up completely changed, like the old had passed away and all had become new! He said that he felt cleansed from all of his old addictions!Praise God for this transformation!
Another young lady shared that she struggled with suicidal thoughts for a long time and really wrestled in her relationship with God. She now feels like she is born again and expressed how much God has changed her life!
The students at two Montgomery high schools were more engaged than they have ever been. They were fully present during the club meetings, asking questions and sharing their beliefs. The Gospel is changing lives!
Prayer Goals:
1) Please pray before, during, or after club times! Let's cry out to God for souls to be born again at every club meeting! Club 24/7: Two middle schools- Monday (7:30 a.m. CST)/Tuesday (7:10 a.m CST) and two high schools- Wednesday (7:10 a.m. CST)/Thursday (7:05 a.m. CST). ON SPRING BREAK THIS WEEK (3/25-3/29).
Atlanta club: Thursday (7:50 a.m. EST) (ALSO, PRAY FOR POWERFUL LEADERSHIP PRAYER TIMES WITH STAFF MEMBER)!
We are believing God for a catalytic gospel movement ‘AWAKENING’ that will win whole schools to Christ!
2) Say a desperate prayer for the launching of our new website (Hopefully this week!). We have added to our vision and this has delayed the launch date.
3) We will be reaching out to all partners to join a zoom prayer call as we launch our new website and new vision. We would initially like to grow from one to five Zoom calls per week. We would love to have you join a Zoom prayer meeting this week!
4) We are believing for five healthy Crossroads staff members who will join five healthy revival centers/churches/ministries where we can see school district-wide awakening (students and their families born again and added to local churches!).
5) We are asking God for five, revivalist, wealthy board members (we have two revival oriented board members right now) who will truly pour their hearts, finances, and wisdom into the kingdom of God!
6) Crossroads is praying about moving the central office to downtown Atlanta. May God give us wisdom on a new location.
Your prayers are greatly appreciated! We are praying with you for your miracles, also. May we see the students (and their families!) of the world born again and added to healthy, catalytic, Gospel centered local churches!
