Decades later, thousands of students have been profoundly influenced by the catalytic gospel movement that CMI embodies.
History of Crossroads
One Salvation
Crossroad’s story began on a college campus. A student by the name of Joseph Blanchard encountered the gospel and was radically saved. He experienced miraculous freedom from four different addictions and was infused with hope and purpose. From that moment on, he had a passion to see his fellow students encounter Jesus.
Birth of CMI
His radical salvation and subsequent campus outreach eventually led Joseph to establish Crossroads Ministries International (CMI) in 2001. Its purpose was to carry the transformational message of the gospel to students across the nation.
A Movement
Since its inception, one of CMI’s biggest impacts is in local communities. Crossroads facilitated the establishment of 15 clubs in one region alone. This resulted in an incredible outpouring. Over 1,000 students received Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior in a single school year.
Looking Ahead
