A Young Lady Shared Her Testimony During a Club Meeting in Montgomery and Encouraged Her Peers to Give Their Lives to Christ!
Your prayers are powerful this week! God really moved on the hearts of our young people!
Attendance was high in both Atlanta and Montgomery. 65-70 students showed up to the Atlanta club! A Montgomery middle school club was packed out and a high school club's attendance was the highest it has been in a while!Students are hungry for the Word of God!
During one of Prince's club meetings, a young lady boldly stood up and shared her testimony with her peers. She talked about how much the club has helped with her struggles and relationship with God: "I have gotten closer to God because of this club. I am really listening to these Bible studies...Truly listen to what Prince is saying. It can really help you. Don’t just come in here for the biscuits or so you can be late to class but really come so you can understand what he is saying. I encourage you all to give your lives to Christ while you still can." She talked to the group for five minutes with tears in her eyes! Lives are being transformed by God's powerful Gospel!
Prayer Goals:
1) Please pray before, during, or after club times! Let's cry out to God for souls to be born again at every club meeting! Club 24/7: Two middle schools- Monday (7:30 a.m. CST)/Tuesday (7:10 a.m CST) and two high schools- Wednesday (7:10 a.m. CST)/Thursday (7:05 a.m. CST). Atlanta club: Thursday (7:50 a.m. EST). We are believing God for a catalytic gospel movement ‘AWAKENING’ that will win the whole school to Christ!
2) We are trying to set up one or two meetings a week with the leadership team in Atlanta to pray for the club meetings. Getting students to engage in prayer will be a powerful time of fellowship and spiritual warfare!
3) We will be reaching out to all partners to join a zoom prayer call as we launch our new website and new vision. We would initially like to grow from one to five Zoom calls per week. We would love to have you join a Zoom prayer meeting this week!
4) We are believing for five, catalytic, Gospel Crossroads staff members who will join five, catalytic, Gospel revival centers/churches/ministries where we can see school district-wide awakening (students and their families born again and added to local churches en masse!).
5) We need five revivalist, wealthy board members (we have two revival oriented board members right now) who will truly pour their hearts, finances, and wisdom into the kingdom of God!
6) Crossroads is praying about moving the central office to downtown Atlanta. May God give us wisdom on a new location.
