Join Us in Fasting and Praying for Our Students!
Each Wednesday, we invite you to fast from the world and feast on God's love as we intercede for revival in our schools. We are believing for a mighty move of God in five schools in Montgomery, one in Atlanta, and schools across the nation! We’re also believing for a One Club vision—raising up 4 discipleship groups (12 parents, 12 male students, 12 female students, and 12 teachers).
Our students are facing distractions and pressures that pull them away from Christ, but through prayer and fasting, we can stand in the gap and believe for transformation!
What Does "Fasting from the World" Mean?
Fasting from the world means intentionally setting aside distractions that hinder our relationship with God. This could include:
Materialism – Letting go of the desire for wealth, possessions, or status.
Digital Overload – Taking a break from endless scrolling, binge-watching, or gaming.
Toxic Relationships – Avoiding influences that drain spiritual energy or pull us away from Christ.
Busyness – Slowing down to prioritize prayer, worship, and time in God's presence.
Cultural Noise – Tuning out secular voices and societal pressures that drown out God’s truth.
As Jesus prayed in John 17:15-16, we are in the world, but we are not of it. Fasting helps us realign our hearts with His Kingdom!
What Does "Feasting on God" Mean?
When we remove distractions, we must fill that space with spiritual nourishment—drawing closer to God and strengthening our faith. This includes:
Prayer and Worship – Seeking God’s presence and lifting up our schools in intercession.
Scripture Reading – Meditating on God's Word to renew our minds and fuel our faith.
Community – Encouraging one another in the pursuit of Christ.
Service – Living out our faith through acts of love and kindness.
Silence and Solitude – Making space to hear God’s voice clearly.
As Psalm 34:8 reminds us: "Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in Him."
Prayer Points:
Revival Ignited (Mark 16:17-18, Psalm 85:6)
Laid-Down Lovers of Jesus Sent Out (Matthew 9:37-38)
Passion to Know God’s Zealous Love (Ephesians 3:18-19)
No More Suicides (Psalm 34:18)
Academic Success (Proverbs 16:3, 2:6)
Honor Restored (Romans 13:7)
Peace in Schools (Romans 14:19)
Freedom from Addictions (John 8:36)
Healthy Relationships (1 Corinthians 16:14)
Our students need a generation of believers who will stand in the gap. Will you join us in fasting and praying each Wednesday? Together, we are believing for revival, transformed lives, and a generation fully surrendered to Jesus!
