Welcome Trueth Davis, Prince and Jada's newest addition! May God give them wisdom and grace in this beautiful season of parenthood. We know this precious baby has a great call of God on his life!
Your prayers are making a HUGE impact. A local high school in Atlanta is on the verge of a massive move of God and harvest of souls. Students are so hungry for more of Jesus. They asked to have another "See You at the Pole" prayer time! This is scheduled for the Thursday before Thanksgiving. May student prayer meetings become regular occurrences at this school and others across America!
The Atlanta club meeting was so powerful. A Crossroads staff member and a Crossroads volunteer got to talk to a dynamic young man who has been trained his whole life to serve Christ by his amazing parents. He made such profound statements about God and His goodness. On the fly, they asked him to open up the club meeting. He shared a moving message about his life and walk with Christ. A Crossroad staff person was also able to share his moving testimony of the death of his sister and first cousin that caused him to receive Christ in a radical way his sophomore year in college. Students were moved by both messages. Another student leader excitedly volunteered to speak at the club this week. We have rarely seen students with this level of maturity and passion for Jesus!
Prayer Points:
Two Christian students shared that they are heavily intimidated through physical and verbal abuse by other male students at the school. PLEASE PRAY THAT THE SPIRIT OF INTIMIDATION IN THE SCHOOL IS DESTROYED IN JESUS NAME. Thankfully, fights have gone down from 4 a day to around 4 a week between last year and this year. Many of the male students are in gangs and operate in a spirit of violence. We speak "peace" into the atmosphere of this school in Jesus' Name. Lord, touch the hearts of these gang members!
The new principal at this school is a powerful leader. Students must wear appropriate clothes and are not allowed to use cell phones during any classroom time. Every student is also receiving counseling and instruction for their lives. Let's lift this mighty woman up in prayer as she diligently tries to change the environment of this school.
God is truly moving on this school campus, and we are believing for an Acts 2 outpouring of the Gospel of Jesus Christ that will transform the lives of hundreds of students! Please pray with us as we share the Gospel and LIVE the Gospel for these students. If we can get a few students on fire (we have two passionate student leaders), the Gospel will spread quickly from student to student. We have big plans and are trusting God to fulfill the vision He has set forth at this high school which could be multiplied to other schools throughout the Atlanta area.
KEEP CRYING OUT for revival on our school campuses in Atlanta and Montgomery! We are sensing the collective prayers of the Crossroads prayer partners and a heart cry of all Christians in America for Revival!
