Happy Labor Day!
As we observe Labor Day, a day established in the late 19th century to honor the contributions and sacrifices of American workers who fought for fair labor practices and rights, let’s not just consider the work of our hands but the work God has called us to in this nation. Our country is in desperate need of a radical ‘born again’ Gospel movement. I encourage you to take time today to pray fervently for our nation, that we might see a revival of faith, a return to God’s Word, and boldness in proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ with our words and lives! Let’s labor together in prayer, knowing that our efforts are not in vain when they’re for His Kingdom.
May God raise up more 'laborers' of the Gospel like these Ohio State football players (Matt. 9:37-38)!
